About NOLA PC Repair
A one-person drop-off shop in Ama for desktops and gaming PCs.
Hi, I'm Brody
I'm Brody Merrick, and I run NOLA PC Repair from my home in Ama, on the west bank of St. Charles Parish. I started the shop so folks on this side of the river have a place to bring their desktops and gaming PCs without driving across town.
I handle every job myself: diagnostics, hardware repair, upgrades (SSDs, RAM, graphics cards, CPUs, and coolers), deep cleaning with fresh thermal paste, Windows installs and troubleshooting, malware cleanup, data transfer, and custom PC builds.
How I work
- I explain what's wrong in plain English.
- You get a written quote before I touch anything beyond the diagnostic.
- I won't push parts you don't need.
- Prices are published, so you know what to expect before you drive over.
- I'm as happy tuning a high-end gaming rig as getting an older family desktop to boot again.
What the shop is and isn't
NOLA PC Repair is a drop-off shop. You bring your PC to me in Ama during shop hours (12 PM to 7 PM, Monday through Sunday); please call or text first so I can check it in right away. I work on desktops and gaming PCs. For laptops I offer diagnostics, cleaning, and battery replacement only, no other laptop repairs. I don't work on phones or tablets. On-site service isn't offered right now; mobile PC repair is planned for the future.
