Laptop Diagnostics, Cleaning & Battery Replacement
A $50 laptop diagnostic with written findings, a $70 dust and fan cleaning, and battery replacement for $70 labor plus the battery. Drop-off in Ama, LA.
What I offer for laptops
Laptops get three services only:
- Laptop diagnostic, $50: I test the laptop and give you written findings on what's wrong. The fee is its own charge and isn't credited toward anything.
- Laptop cleaning, $70: dust and fan cleaning for a laptop that runs hot or has a loud fan.
- Laptop battery replacement, $70 labor plus the battery: a flat labor price to swap in a new battery. The battery itself is extra; its price varies by laptop model, and I quote it before ordering.
What I don't do for laptops
Other laptop repairs and part replacements are not offered. That includes:
- Screen, keyboard, or charging port replacements
- SSD, RAM, or other laptop upgrades
- Windows reinstalls, troubleshooting, or malware cleanup on laptops
- Phones and tablets
If the diagnostic finds a problem other than the battery, the written findings tell you what's wrong so you can take it to a laptop repair shop.
How it works
Call or text first, then drop the laptop off at the shop in Ama with its charger. For a battery replacement, I quote the battery for your model before ordering it. I'll text you when it's ready for pickup.
Desktops and gaming PCs get the full service menu, including repairs and upgrades.
Prices
Laptops get diagnostics, cleaning, and battery replacement only. Battery replacement is labor only; the battery and any applicable sales tax are extra. Other laptop repairs and part replacements are not offered.
