Gaming problems I track down
- Games crashing to desktop, black screens, or driver timeouts
- Stutters and frame drops that start after 10 to 20 minutes of play
- High CPU or GPU temperatures and loud fans under load
- Random shutdowns or restarts while gaming
- RAM not running at its rated speed (XMP/EXPO left off)
- Messy driver installs after a graphics card swap
Load testing is part of the diagnostic
Gaming problems often only show up under load, so on a gaming PC the same flat $50 diagnostic includes CPU and GPU load testing, temperature checks, and an attempt to reproduce the crash. There's no separate gaming tier or price. Like every diagnostic here, it's its own charge and is not credited toward the repair. You get written findings and a quote before any work.
Performance work comes with before-and-after benchmarks so you can see the difference in numbers. No overclocking unless you ask for it, and I'll explain the risks first.

How pricing works: The diagnostic for desktops and gaming PCs is a flat $50. The diagnostic fee is charged on its own and is not credited toward the repair. You get written findings and a quote, and nothing gets repaired until you approve it.

Louisiana heat is hard on gaming rigs
Dust-clogged fans, dried-out thermal paste, and a tower pushed against a wall or sitting on carpet all push temps up. Give it a few inches of breathing room and keep it off the carpet. If it still runs hot, a deep clean with fresh paste usually brings temps back down.
